ANDREJ GRONAU
Das ready-to-wear Label ANDREJ GRONAU, das 2022 von dem deutsch-ukrainischen Designer und Central-Saint-Martins-Absolventen Andrej Gronau gegründet wurde, präsentierte auf der Berlin Fashion Week SS27 als Gewinner des „Berlin Contemporary“-Preises seine Kollektion „Island’s Isolation“. Gronau bricht mit dem typischen, rein schwarzen Berliner Stereotyp und verwandelt Mode in einen farbenfrohen, lebendigen Spielplatz, auf dem er gekonnt jugendliche Naivität, Nostalgie und Pop-Kultur mit traditionellem Handwerk und modernen, bürotauglichen Silhouetten verwebt. Seine SS27-Kollektion nutzt den Garten als Metapher für ein abgeschiedenes Mikrouniversum und besticht durch kontrastreiche Farbkombinationen, Color-Blocking sowie verspielte, handgezeichnete Motive von Katzen, Mäusen und Blumen. / The ready-to-wear brand ANDREJ GRONAU, established in 2022 by German-Ukrainian designer and Central Saint Martins graduate Andrej Gronau, presented its Spring/Summer 2027 collection "Island’s Isolation" as a winner of the "Berlin Contemporary" concept competition. Breaking away from Berlin's traditional all-black aesthetic, Gronau transforms fashion into a vibrant, colorful playground where he seamlessly fuses youth culture, romantic nostalgia, and traditional craftsmanship with sharp, contemporary tailoring. Inspired by the garden as a miniature, isolated sanctuary, his SS27 collection highlights bold color-blocking, expressive silhouettes, and whimsical, hand-drawn prints of cats, mice, and botanical elements adapted for modern everyday wear.
